Makati Team Gets Physical in Sportsfest

The inDinero Makati office has been growing by leaps and bounds, and it was just about time for a change of scenery. So, the entire Makati team packed all their sports equipment and traveled to Canyon Woods Resort Club in Laurel, Batangas for a day of fun and games in the Company Sportsfest last October 11, 2014.

The day kicked off with breakfast and then an Amazing Race, where everyone present was divided into four teams and tasked to complete specific activities together. Players were challenged both physically and mentally through fun activities that also promoted team building. The heavy fog and rain on that day did not stop the players from eating it out and have some healthy competition.

In the end, the Blue team won the bragging rights and prizes. After a quick lunch, the group kicked back and took advantage of the venue’s well-furnished facilities to swim and play various sports. There are no professional athletes in the team, but this did not stop everyone from enjoying intense basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, tennis, and even card games.

The activities wound down by late afternoon and the team went back to Manila in the evening. Not everyone may have won the race and afternoon sports, but everyone took away lessons and bonding moments from the entire activity.
